The Pittsburgh Steelers win 26–19 in overtime against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday afternoon. After early struggles the Steelers fought back and earned a crucial road win, spending most of the game behind 16–3 heading into the fourth quarter.
The Steelers had a rough start offensively not being able to get much going in the first half. With Tampa Bay taking advantage of the Steelers’ early struggles, they were able to build an early lead. Things started to change when QB Aaron Rodgers connected with tight end Darnell Washington for a five-yard touchdown, bringing the score to 16–10. Kicker Chris Boswell was another crucial part of the comeback making four field goals including a 58-yard kick that tied the game at 16 in the second half. The Steelers eventually took a 19–16 lead, Tampa Bay answered quickly though with a field goal of its own to send the game into overtime.
In overtime, Rodgers led the Steelers down the field on a 12-play 70-yard drive ending with a six-yard touchdown pass to rookie wide receiver Germie Bernard, giving Pittsburgh a 26–19 lead. The defense then finished the job when veteran DB Jalen Ramsey recorded a sack on fourth down to end the game. According to official NFL stats, Rodgers finished with 253 passing yards and two touchdowns. Rookie WR Bernard also had a strong game with 11 catches for 87 yards, and veteran DK Metcalf also having 93 receiving yards. https://www.nfl.com/teams/pittsburgh-steelers/
